Find Out What Your Name Reveals About You with Numerology
We all look at our horoscopes and Human Design charts, but have we ever looked at what numbers are telling us? Sometimes, it goes beyond mindset work.
If you’re into astrology, numerology is a great companion to it and can help clarify and confirm signs and patterns.
I’ve always been fascinated with numbers mainly bc of my mom. She was born on March 3rd and has been bragging about her 0303 birthdate ever since I could remember!
What is numerology?
Fast forward to just recently, I picked up a Numerology book by accident and it was intriguing! I mean, isn’t it interesting how some cultures perceive 13 to be lucky whereas others view it as unlucky? Many cultures around the world have their own systems and ancient roots (hello Pythagorean Theorem? lol)
Numerology is the study of numbers and how those numbers have a profound impact on our lives. From how we act to who we attract in a relationship to the personal powers that we hold, the numbers bestowed upon us from birth have an influence on us on a day-to-day basis.

What can we calculate?
In numerology, there are different ways to get different numbers that give you more insight as to who you are (ie. life path, expression, destiny, etc).
From your birthdate to your wedding date to your address, everything in your life has symbol.
Destiny Number
Your Destiny Number unveils your life’s purpose and who you are destined to be. It basically highlights your strengths and knows where you’re going.
For example, SHAZIE (1 + 8 + 1 + 8 + 9 + 5 = 32, which becomes 3 + 2 = 5) SENEN (1 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 21, which becomes 3), resulting in a Destiny Number of 8 (because 5 + 3).
Soul Urge Number
Your Soul Urge Number, also known as your heart’s desire, reveals your inner truth and hidden desires aka what your soul truly wants and craves. It also reveals your inner motivations, how you make decisions, and how you show up in relationships.
For example, mine would be AIEEE (1 + 9 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 = 2 + 5 = 7).
Personality Number
And lastly, your Personality Number reveals how you portray yourself to others and how others perceive you.
For example, mine would be SHZSNN (1 + 8 + 8 + 1 + 5 + 5 = 28 = 2 + 8 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1).
What do these numbers all mean?
Here’s a chart of what all these numbers mean. Each number has the same meaning across, so no matter what you’re calculating, the meaning of each number remains. However, their influence will vary depending on the aspect of life they’re tied to. For example:
- A Life Path 1 person might have a life theme centered on leadership and independence.
- A Personality 1 person would come across as confident, driven, and assertive to others.
- A Soul Urge 1 would have a deep internal desire to be a leader and innovate.
