Hi I'm Shazie, a latte-lovin' blogger, self-love advocate, and wellness space facilitator β₯ I'm a West Coast-turned-East Coast girl, so naturally I'm conflicted between Dunkin vs Starbs. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you stick aroundβ₯

This time of year can bring a yo-yo of emotions. I know everyone’s talking about sprinting to year-end and assessing where you are with your goals. While that’s great and all, I’m #TeamCozyLiving for some holiday gratitude, so while I’m still assessing my goals, I’m really not trying to sprint… unless I’m on the treadmill, okay?
Yup, I’m still running… 3.1 mile club though!!
Anyway, I digress!! Here are 19 ways for some holiday gratitude with a cozy makeshift fireplace courtesy of YouTube π
Bake something new – I’ve been into baking things from scratch lately. Not sure if it’s all the Food Network I’ve been consuming, but the holidays always bring such cozy “I can do anything” vibes, so why not?
Try a new cocktail/mocktail recipe
Try a new soup recipe – Am I into the kitchen lately? LOL.
Print out memorable pics and DIY frames – I know you have GORGEOUS pics on your phone, so why not print them out and put them in cute frames? I thought of that recently because I was browsing through my albums reminiscing on some old gems! You can print them out, scrapbook them, or decorate them as a DIY project using Michaels frames.
Movie marathon – I’m on the fence between Hallmark Christmas and Classic Christmas, so why not watch one each day?
Track your budget – knowing your spending means being transparent and honest with yourself. I used a FREE budgeting template to help me jumpstart my tracking. I used to be scared of doing this until I realized it’s better to be aware.
Design cute end-of-the-year mantras on paper and invite friends/family – Maybe I’m in my creative era, but I think it’s such a cute idea to host something with your loved ones and decorate some mantras on fun paper for some fun holiday gratitude.
Clean out your closet and either sell or donate – Organizing can be cozy, right? And who knows, maybe you can score some extra bucks by selling something!
Volunteer at a local organization
Meet with a friend or do one event outside of work once a week – Tis the season for all the festivities. I’m not big on spending, but I do love cute experiences. Eventbrite is my go-to.
Watch your favorite holiday episodes – Every year, I watch my favorite episodes of Friends and Gossip Girl because they have the best holiday episodes. Think of your fav show or sit-com and binge some of the holiday-specific episodes for feel good vibes.
Host a beautiful get-together with friends – Maybe once you try out a new recipe from above, you can share it here!! π If taboo topics come up, here are some tips on how to handle those.
Make holiday gratitude cards
Send out holiday cards – Whether you’re using an online photo card service like Minted or you’re doing handwritten fun cards, now is the time to start those letters to get into the holiday spirit.
Check out a local coffee shop – It’s a great way for you to support local and try something new especially something from their seasonal menu.
Try out a new activity like pottery
Journal on how your year has been – Pair it with a cup of cozy chai and you’ll get a cozy x100 experience.
Read letters from Operation Santa at USPS – this is my favorite thing ever. You get to read letters and if you’d like, you can then choose a child to buy gifts for π
Hope this list brings you all the cozy vibes this holiday season! If you end up doing any of it or have additional ideas, I’d love to know π f you’re alone and the holidays are hard, know that you’re not alone and you are oh so supported.
